To be honest, I'm lucky to live where I do. We live in a suburb of the Twin Cities, but it is like its own little small town, Mainstreet and all. So part of me was a little worried about the reaction when I put our "Vote No" yard sign out in front. I wasn't sure what reaction would come. But shortly after we had our sign proudly displayed I started to notice that several houses on the quite lanes of the town have similar signs. It is refreshing to see people taking a stand for equity, and makes the little town feel even more like home.
